Privacy Policy
Last updated: 1 September 2026
This policy explains what TIAM TECHNOLOGIES LIMITED collects, why, and what you can ask us to do about it.
Information we collect
We collect the details you give us directly - your name, email address, phone number and organisation when you submit an enquiry or hold an account on our client portal. For account holders we also store project records, invoices and any files shared between us.
File access logging
When a file is viewed or downloaded through our client portal, we record the account involved, the date and time, the IP address, device type, browser and operating system, and basic engagement measures such as how long the file was open. This exists so that both we and our clients have an accurate, auditable record of who accessed which document and when. These logs are retained for 24 months.
How we use your information
To respond to enquiries, deliver and support the services you have engaged us for, issue invoices, secure our systems against misuse, and improve how our services perform. We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for advertising.
Sharing
We share data only with service providers that make our services work - our hosting infrastructure and payment processors - and where the law requires it. Client project data is never shared with other clients.
Security
Passwords are stored hashed, connections use TLS, access to client files is scoped to the owning organisation, and administrative access is limited to named staff. Backups are encrypted and stored separately.
Your rights
You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to retain it. Write to us at the address below and we will respond within 30 days.
Cookies
We use a session cookie to keep you signed in to the client portal and a small number of functional cookies. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
